March 1, 2007For Christmas I got some new crochet hooks and I was really motivated to make something with them. (Even though I already had crochet hooks. I don't know..I'm weird) Being me I went to www.craftster.org and found a HUGE project that I decided I wanted to commit my yarn to, a beautiful afghan made from hexagon shaped granny squares. (seen here.) I got really excited and immediately started turn them out. I even went to JoAnn's and bought a bunch of yarn. I was really excited about it and then I just got to where I didn't feel like working on it.
I've been practicing my knitting (I just learned how) but I plan on coming back to my blanket soon. I haven't connected them yet and I haven't figured out whether I want to do a trim around all of them in the same color or not even do a trim at all. I'm looking all the different colors though! I think I'm going to start working on it again this weekend, I'm not doing anything else♥
